Leading the Charge: The ZIMRA Board

Board Chairman Mr. Antony Mandiwanza brings over 30 years of corporate leadership experience and is widely respected for his role in successfully privatising a state-owned enterprise and positioning it on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange.

He is supported by Deputy Chairperson Mrs. Josephine Matambo, a seasoned tax expert whose career spans four decades, including foundational work in the former Department of Taxes.

Other key members of the board include:

• Mr. George Guvamatanga, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, offering Treasury and Investment Banking expertise.

• Mr. Memory Nguwi, an Occupational Psychologist, bringing deep human capital insights as Chair of the Human Resources Committee.

• Mr. Isaac Kwesu, economist and policy strategist, known for contributions to mining and indigenisation policy.

• Ms. Mutsa Remba, a legal expert in commercial, mining, and financial law.

• Mrs. Ruth Ncube, award-winning business leader and Chairperson of the Risk Committee.

• Dr. Paradza Paradza, an ICT specialist and governance professional with experience across various sectors.

• Dr. Grace Muradzikwa, insurance veteran and the first woman to head a listed company in Zimbabwe.

• Mr. Bongani Khumalo, an economist with academic and policy experience across Southern Africa.

• Mr. John Tandi Dewah, a veteran in public administration and fiscal governance.

• Ms. Regina Chinamasa, ZIMRA Commissioner General and ex-officio Board member, known for her hands-on leadership and digital transformation drive within ZIMRA.
