ZIMRA Hosts Stakeholders ZITF Breakfast Meeting

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) held its annual ZITF stakeholders’ breakfast meeting on April 25, 2024, at Cresta Churchill Hotel in Bulawayo under the theme:
“Embracing Innovation for Revenue Collection, Trade Facilitation and Travel.”

The event provided a platform for ZIMRA and stakeholders to engage on economic issues and strengthen collaboration.

ZIMRA Acting Commissioner General, Mr. Batsirayi Chadzingwa, emphasized the importance of innovation and stakeholder partnerships in driving national development and economic efficiency.

ZIMRA highlighted major digital initiatives including:

TaRMS, launched on February 29, 2024, for streamlined tax administration.

The Tax Agent Module, which went live on March 1, 2024.

Zimbabwe Electronic Single Window (ZESW) to speed up clearance at ports of entry.

Use of drones for customs surveillance and a new Contact Centre to improve service delivery.

ZIMRA reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing tax compliance, trade facilitation, and service efficiency.
