ZIMRA hosts 7th annual general meeting

The Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) convened its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27 June 2024 in Harare, where the 2023 Annual Report and Audited Financial Statements were presented to stakeholders — reinforcing ZIMRA’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accountability, and digital transformation.

Addressing attendees, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Hon. David Kudakwashe Mnangagwa, commended ZIMRA’s adherence to best corporate governance practices, including holding AGMs as outlined in the Public Entities and Corporate Governance Act.

“One of the key milestones achieved in 2023 was the implementation of the Tax Revenue Management System (TaRMS), which has significantly improved the taxpayer experience,” said Hon. Munangagwa.
